Signs of ear infections in toddlers and children include:

Child Ear Pain

Earaches are a common complaint among children and can be caused by a variety of factors, not all of which involve an infection. While ear infections are a frequent culprit, earaches can also result from fluid buildup, sinus pressure, teething, throat infections, allergies, or even changes in air pressure (like during flying).

Because earaches can have different causes, it’s important to have your child evaluated by a specialist, especially if the pain is persistent, keeps coming back, or is accompanied by hearing changes or fluid drainage.
